Valentino Rossi sparked fresh debate about a possible departure to F1 for the Ferrari team and now Yamaha boss Lin Jarvis has chipped in with his comment on the matter.
Yamaha are insistent that a huge cash offer from F1 outfit Ferrari would not tempt them to part company with Rossi.
Ferrari president Luca di Montezemolo hinted the team could run a third car in 2010 with Rossi, who has a year left on his Yamaha deal, linked with a seat.
When asked if Rossi could be granted his release, boss Lin Jarvis told MCN: “It’s not an option we’re considering – I hope he will not ask the question.”
