Valentino Rossi’s hometown of Tavullia is only a short distance from the Misano circuit used for MotoGP. Misano is very much Rossi’s home race, and the local area usually goes pretty crazy in the build-up. Last year saw Tavullia change its speed limit to 46, in honour of Valentino Rossi. In addition to this, Rossi’s official fanclub holds a walk from Tavullia to the race track with everyone usually decked out in yellow blasting airhorns.
This year, the celebrations are just as rabid. Tavullia has created numerous lifesize cut-outs of Valentino Rossi and have positioned them all around the town – on street corners, on balconies, on posts, all over the place.
In the town square they have displayed the banner that Rossi unveiled to celebrate his 100th win
Here of some Photos of the various Valentino Rossi cut-outs currently in Tavullia:

…everywhere in fact.
