Rizla Suzuki unveil their new 2010 MotoGP bike in Malaysia. Loris Capirossi took it for a test session (pictured). the new machine is more economical to run (runs on bananas and vegetation), has a more effective water distribution system to keep it cool during races, has a more robust chassis and fairings, and more importantly, recent tests have proved that it has a higher top speed than the current Suzuki GSV-R bike used in MotoGP. It’s also a lot harder for Alvaro Bautista to fall off the back of.
Actually, it’s Loris Capirossi on an elephant – a sentence we don’t expect to need to write again in the near future.
Here’s the offcial Press Release that explains what’s going on here:
Rizla Suzuki racer Loris Capirossi geared up for this weekend’s Malaysian Grand Prix by sampling a bit of elephant power rather than the 225+ horsepower beast that he usually rides.
