Fiat Yamaha have been making a big noise about the unveiling of their new livery for 2010 – they have been putting out teaser videos and various messages across the internet that the big unveiling would take place on the 4th Jan. In a nod to the importance of the Indonesian market to Yamaha the bikes feature the Indonesian Yamaha slogan “Semakin Di Depan”, which means “One Step Ahead”. Rossi and Lorenzo have huge followings in Indonesia and shift a lot of Yamaha’s (as well as appearing in local TV commercials).

It’s all been a bit of a let-down really as the bikes looks pretty much the same as 2009 – which was to be expected considering no major changes to the sponsor was planned for 2010 anway.
