Dani Pedrosa beat Jorge Lorenzo to pole position for Sunday’s Spanish MotoGP. Casey Stoner rounds off the front row in 3rd place.
Nicky Hayden maintained his current stong form to take 5th position, and for a while it looked like he would be qualify higher than Casey Stoner for the first time in his Ducati career.
Despite starting as the early pace-setter, Valentino Rossi seemed to struggle to increase his speed to defend his early pole position.
