Pol Espagaro and Nico Terol treated 125cc fans to another thrilling race at Le Mans.

Terol took an early lead and was closely followed by Espargaro as the two riders began to break away from the rest of the pack. Towards the last 3rd of the race, both riders began fighting and took turns at the front, but it was Espargaro who had the pace and rhythm to claim victory after a fast overtake on the final lap.

Bradley Smith looked certain to take 3rd place until the last two laps when he came close to highsiding and was lifted out of his seat allowing Marc Marquez to take his position. Both riders fought hard on the final lap and Smith tried to take 3rd place back at the final Esses, but instead ended up making contact with Marquez allowing him to take 3rd position, and also allowing Vasquez to capitalise on the error and take 4th.
