Stefan Bradl extended his lead at the top of the Moto2 Championship with his victory in Spain – Bradl was mostly unchallenged for the majority of the race.

The action took place behind the leader, as Simon crashed out after Sofuoglu ran into his back tyre and Simon was propelled through the air and into the dirt, followed quickly by Sofuoglu.

Bradley Smith also ran off track on the final lap whilst fighting amongst a group of riders racing for 5th.
